A professional and versatile architectural designer with experience across the UK and Canada, currently based in the south of England. Following several years working in Vancouver, I returned to the UK in April 2023 and established my own design consultancy - mcneillstudio.

Through my own consultancy, I work directly with private clients, homeowners and property professionals, managing projects from initial concept and feasibility through planning, design development and construction. I enjoy working closely with clients to understand their ambitions and develop considered, context-driven solutions that balance design quality, practicality and budget.

Earlier experience working for a property developer in London also provided valuable insight into the commercial and client-side aspects of the industry, giving me a broader understanding of the relationship between design, planning, development and viability.
